Information Related to App Features
Varo includes features for review images, focus markers, frame notes, gear profiles, rig checks, maintenance records, notifications, and Studio Credits. Depending on how you use the app, these features may involve images you select, camera or photo library access, equipment details you enter, review notes, purchase status, and app settings.
Camera, Photo Library, and Microphone Permissions
Varo may request camera and photo library access so you can capture or import review images. The iOS configuration also includes a microphone permission description for in-app audio features. You can manage these permissions in your device settings.
AI Frame Review
AI-assisted frame review is optional. When you choose AI frame review, Varo sends the selected review image to Volcengine Ark (Doubao) so focus points, subject markers, and frame notes can be estimated. Manual focus point placement is available if you do not want to use AI frame review.
Purchases
Varo offers optional in-app purchases for Studio Credit packs through the App Store. Purchase handling is managed through Apple's in-app purchase system, and Varo uses purchase status to deliver the corresponding Studio Credits.
Tracking Permission
Varo may request tracking permission to measure feature reliability and improve release stability. You can allow or deny this request through the iOS permission prompt and system settings.
